The Pronto Pup was created by husband and wife team George and Versa Boyington in the late 1930s at Rockaway Beach, Oregon. The Boyingtons run a small hot dog on the beach, selling dogs to tourists and locals. When the rain comes and breaks the bread, making them soaked and uneaten, George Boyington comes up with the idea of ​​cooking "bread" if necessary. He created a mixture of dough-based pancakes and the duo came up with the formula used today. Pronto Pup is also a common food found at fairs throughout Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, and North and South Dakota. They are different from the original in general, but not always, using bratwurst instead of hotthen dogs as a sausage.
