Time Warner Center is a used twin-tower building (office/commercial and residential) in New York City. Developed by The Related Companies and AREA Property Partners (formerly known as Apollo Real Estate Advisors), the designs by David Childs and Mustafa Kemal Abadan from Skidmore, Owings & amp; Merrill, consisting of two 750 ft (230 m) twin towers bridged by a multi-story atrium that contains upscale retail stores. Construction began in November 2000, following the demolition of the New York Coliseum, and the topping ceremony was held on February 27, 2003. The property had the highest listed market value in New York City, $ 1.1 billion, in 2006.
Originally built as the AOL Time Warner Center , it encircles the west side of Columbus Circle and crosses the border between Midtown and the Upper West Side. The redevelopment of the New York Coliseum site at Columbus Circle was first proposed in 1985. The plan still languished until 1998 when the Coliseum website was sold to Time Warner and The Related Companies for $ 345 million. The Coliseum was destroyed in 2000. The Time Warner Center was the first major building to be completed in Manhattan after the September 11 attacks, although it was already under construction in 2001. Design
The Time Warner Center has 55 floors. The upper floor is labeled as floor 77.

The building has several street addresses, including 10 Columbus Circles for offices, 25 Columbus Circles for the south tower named "One Central Park" and 80 Columbus Circles for The Residences at Mandarin Oriental. One Central Park West's address, meanwhile, belongs to Trump International Hotel and Tower on Broadway. After the completion of Time Warner Center, Trump made a "little joke" at the Time Warner Center cost by hanging a big sign in his arrogant building, "Your view is not that great, right? We have the real Central Park.
The building has an entrance to the 59th Street-Columbus Circle station on the New York City Subway near the southern tip of Columbus Circle.
Renters
The center has tenants on the ground floor including designer shops and restaurants. On February 5, 2004, Whole Foods Market opened 68,000 square feet of Columbus Circle outlets (6,300 m 2 ) at Time Warner Center. In 2005, the wine shop in the shop closed after the shop begged no contest to declare charges of illegal operations. Whole Foods plans to replace the center with an expanded coffee bar, gelato counter, and additional inspection tracks. Top floors include Masa's restaurant, Per Se and Porter House New York.
The complex is also home to three entertainment areas. The CNN Studio at Time Warner Center, is one of three major network broadcast sites (along with facilities in Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles). Events from New York facilities include Anderson Cooper 360Ã, Â ° and Erin Burnett OutFront . CNN Jeanne Moos, known for his offbeat "on the street" report, often broadcasts the subject of interviews outside the building. In 2005, Jazz at Lincoln Center announced a partnership with XM Satellite Radio that provided XM's studio space at Frederick P.
