Glory Days is the fourth studio album by the British girl group Little Mix. The album was released on November 18, 2016, by Syco Music and Columbia Records. The album was preceded by British number one "Shout Out to My Ex", released a month earlier. The single went on to win the Best British Single at the BRIT Awards 2017. The album debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and stayed there for four weeks; it later became their first album to produce more than two ten singles when the fourth single, "Power", reached number six on the UK Singles Chart. In January 2018 the album won three platinum in the UK for delivery of 900,000 units.
The group released an album on November 24, 2017 as Glory Days: The Platinum Edition . The re-released album included the single "ReggaetÃÆ'³n Lento (Remix)", a remix of the CNCO song featuring the band, peaking at number five on the UK Singles Chart, along with three other previously released remixes, three new songs and a bonus documentary " Glory Days: The Documentary ". This is a pop-dance, tropical house and R & amp; B.

"Shout Out to My Ex" was released on October 16, 2016, as the lead single of the album. The song is aired on the day of release by a live performance on The X Factor of the event's results before it is available for download along with the pre-order of the album. The song debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart. The song remained at number one for three consecutive weeks before falling to number two in its fourth week. On December 5, 2016, the group announced "Touch" as the second single from the album.
On March 1, 2017, the group announced that they would release "No More Sad Songs" as the third single from the album, on March 3, 2017. The new mix of the song featured American hip-hop artist Machine Gun Kelly. On May 19, Little Mix announced via their official Twitter that "Power" will be released as the fourth official single of the album on May 26, 2017. Two hours after the announcement of the single, they announced that the single "Power" will be released diremix, with additional features from the English grime act Stormzy.
Single promotion
"You Gotta Not" was released as the first promotional single on October 27, 2016. The song debuted at number sixty-one on the UK Singles Chart in the week beginning November 4, 2016. "F.U." was released as the album's second promotional single on November 4, 2016. The song debuted at number eighty two on the UK Singles Chart in the week starting November 11, 2016. "Nothing Else Matters" was released as the third promotional single on November 11, 2016.
Three more songs (which are not promotional singles) were released in the last three days before the album began, starting with "Touch" on November 15th. The second song "Nobody Like You" was released on November 16th. The third and final song, "Down & Dirty", was released on November 17th.

The promotional campaign is set for fans in the UK, Australia, USA, France, Netherlands, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Belgium, Germany, Norway, Finland and Singapore, called Glory Days Road Trip.
Tour
The group started The Glory Days Tour to support this album. Leg UK The Glory Days Tour was announced on October 14, 2016, and begins on October 27, 2017. The European legs - which took place in May and June 2017 - were announced in November 2016. The legs in Oceania took place in July 2017.
Critical reception
The Guardian calls this album "pop perfection chart." In another positive review, Digital Spy wrote "Little Mix has put together their most personal album, without sacrificing big hooks, mainstream pop sensibilities and a lot of sassy attitude." The article goes on to say " Glory Days heard four young women come along with very real ties, making their message more believable." The Evening Standard praised Little Mix for surviving with their fourth studio album, writing "Glory Days mostly stuck to their winning formula", and added that "the four have carved a pop niche for themselves. "
Digital Spy considers Glory Days to be the 12th best album of the year.
Commercial performance
Glory Days became the first UK number one album, and 90,000 sales in the first week in the UK made it the best-selling album ever since David Bowie Blackstar in January 2016. The record was broken two weeks later by the Rolling Stones. The album also reached number one in Ireland, and debuted at number two in Australia, and in the top 10 in the Netherlands, New Zealand and Spain. Glory Days spent a total of five consecutive weeks at number one on the UK Albums Charts, the longest running at the top by a girl group album since Spice Girls spent 15 weeks at number one with Spice > in 1996, and in March 2018 the album spent 69 weeks in the top 40 UK Charts Albums, making it the longest women's group album in the top 40. Until January 2018, the album has been certified triple platinum in the UK for delivery of 900,000 units.
