Green Guide is a bi-monthly publication produced by the National Geographic Society as a source of information about environmentally conscious and healthy living. Founded in 1994, it stopped publication in 2008, and now exists as a website only.

The magazine launched its website in 2002. This guide was trimmed by the March 4, 2008 publication into a quarterly publication. It is continuously printed on Verso Paper with the FSC Mixed Source Label, which means wood comes from forests managed by the Forest Stewardship Council, well managed forests, sources controlled in accordance with FSC standards, and/or recycled materials. In addition to traditional print publications, The National Geographic Green Guide is available as a digital subscription using Texterity Web publishing format. The National Geographic Green Guide every three months is an evolution of the pre-existing Green Guide website and bulletin, established in 1994 by former staff of the Department of Defense's Natural Resources Department, Wendy Gordon. National Geographic got the original Green Guides in March 2007.
