Pinnacle is a vodka brand owned by Beam Suntory. It was distilled in France from French grain and then exported to the United States where it was spiced and bottled by Beam. Currently available in about 30 flavors. This brand was launched in 2002. On April 23, 2012 it was announced that Beam Inc. will acquire the Pinnacle brand for $ 600 million. In January 2013, Beam announced that it would close its previous White Rock refineries and move its production to Kentucky.

Ads
Pinnacle released the television commercial "Paper or Plastic" in 2012. This ad depicts a woman's fantasy to be served by Pinnacle Whipped in a world whipped by two men named Papier and Plastics. The ad ended with him taking pictures of his daydreams by two men, at a grocery store, asking if he wanted a paper or plastic bag for his Pinnacle. This is not shown in the Pennsylvania television market, as the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board has a monopoly on liquor sales at state-owned Fine Wine and Good Spirits stores.
