DatPiff is an online mixtape distribution platform owned by Idle Media Inc. Launched in 2005 and headquartered in Pennsylvania. It specializes in hip-hop, rap and urban music.

They also received sponsor offers from companies like Nike and VH1.

The main feature of DatPiff is that unregistered users can download for free any mixtape uploaded to a Sponsored Site - which is funded by the artist or label. Registered users are allowed to download downloads of unlimited mixtape in limited quantities per day. Premium paid users have unlimited number of downloads of each mixtape. Mixtape can be streamed by any user. Premium content can also be purchased.

Users sign up as artists or fans - the main difference is that artists upload their work to the site while fans can only listen to this work.

DatPiff has a mobile app for iOS (iPhone and iPad), Android, Windows Phone 7, BlackBerry, and WebOS.
