Cross/CrossDJ is a vinyl mixing software and digital DJ developed by French company, Mixvibes. The software provides DJs with a digital platform with which they can mix and perform their music. Since its release in 2008, it has become Mixvibes's main focus.

Overview
The latest version, Cross/CrossDJ 3.3, launched in October 2014 offers 4 channel mixer, 4 Band EQ, 8 sampler pad, many different effects and features, smooth looping, auto beat-gridding and beat matching. Cross/CrossDJ is known for its easy and easy integration of iTunes tracks or other media formats to Cross.
Cross/CrossDJ is customized for PC and Mac platforms and is compatible with almost all external MIDI controllers. DJ can control the software using mouse/keyboard or MIDI controller. This DJ mixer software offers all the effects, loops, finders, samplers you can find on the regular controller and matching beat/feature quantification to fix human rhythm errors to ensure a seamless transition. The modular interface has been redesigned with the latest version so it can be customized with each user's unique preferences.
In 2012, Mixvibes expanded the range of their Cross software to cover virtually any Apple device. CrossDJ for iPad launched early 2012, a professional DJing app for iPad, and features all the necessary channels, FX and EQ. The remote CrossDJ is released for iPad/iPhone and iPod Touch where users can control their mix at a distance from their computer through connections on their Apple devices.
There is also a Cross DJ version for Android.
Cross
Mixvibes' special version of Cross, is a vinyl emulation software that enables the integration of traditional vinyl and CD turntables, brings timecode control and allows DJs to mix and scratch their digital audio files. This product is used throughout the community of DJ turntable and scratch. This software allows the manipulation and playback of digital audio sources using traditional vinyl and turntables. It provides DJs with platforms to scratch or beat as per their tracks without losing the original vinyl/CD nuance.
DVS
Mixvibes DVS (Digital Vinyl System) is a vinyl emulation software launched in 2004 by Mixvibes. The software will soon be discontinued, with Cross (see above) being his successor. Cross retains all the features and effects of DVS. This software is the main focus of Mixvibes for many years and is highly regarded in community scratches and turntablist.
Rekordbox
Mixvibes also uses Cross as a basis for designing Rekordbox, for the Japanese company Pioneer, one of the leading DJ hardware manufacturing companies. Rekordbox is exclusively repackaged for Pioneer and comes with many of their products.

History
Cross was first introduced to the DJ community in 2008. Mixvibes draws on previous experiences from the most popular DVS software (Digital Vinyl Systems) which consists of a digital mixer interface and allows integration of external vinyl or CD controls. This software has just been updated several times, recently released Cross2.0.

o CrossDJ Free - The basic version of Cross Software but released as a free edition
