Boomania was Betty Boo's most successful debut and album, released on September 10, 1990. King John (duo consisting of Rex Brough and John Coxon) produced most of the songs on the album ; Coxon continues to collaborate with Betty Boo on his second album, GRRR! This is Betty Boo .

Do Do: The Best of Betty Boo

In 1999, Betty Boo's most famous hit album was released but effectively the version was slightly expanded from Boomania because there was no material from Boo's second album, GRRR! This is Betty Boo, included. Called Doing a Prayer: The Best of Betty Boo , it consists of all songs from Boomania in a slightly different order, along with an expanded version of two single, remix, and megamix. The front cover is a mirrored version of a photo from the front of Boomania with the addition of Betty Boo's signature and a small digital change. These new songs are all included on a fair 2016 reissue of Boomania .
