Audio mixing is a process whereby multiple sounds are combined into one or more channels. In the process, the source volume level, frequency content, dynamics, and panoramic positions are manipulated and/or enhanced. Also, effects like echoes and echoes can be added. This practical, aesthetic, or creative treatment is done to produce a final version of interest to the listener.
Audio mixing is practiced for music, movies, television and live sound. This process is generally performed by mixing engineers who operate the mixing console or digital audio workstations.
Video Audio mixing
Music recording
Before the introduction of multitrack recordings, all sounds and effects that were part of the recording were mixed together at one time during the live performance. If the sound mix is ââunsatisfactory, or if one musician makes a mistake, the selection must be made until the desired balance and performance are obtained. However, with the introduction of multitrack recording, the modern recording production phase has changed radically into one that generally involves three stages: recording, overdubbing, and mixdown.

Movies and TV
Audio mixing for movies and television is a process during the post-production stage of a moving image program where many recorded sounds are combined. In the process, the source signal level, frequency content, dynamics and panoramic position are generally manipulated and effects added.
The process takes place at a mixed stage, usually in a studio or theater, after the image element is edited to the final version. Usually engineers will mix four main audio elements: speech (dialogue, ADR, voice-overs, etc.), atmosphere (or atmosphere), sound effects, and music.

Direct stirring is a combined process of various sound sources electrically at a live event using a mixing console. The sound used includes the sounds of instruments, sounds and material recorded previously. Individual sources can be synchronized and directed to influence the processor to eventually be amplified and reproduced through loudspeakers. Direct sound engineers balance various audio sources in a way that best suits the needs of the event.
